18 weeks, 2 days..

Yes, I know. I am a slacker!
But who wants to write about nausea, constipation, food aversions, and the fact that I really don't know what is going on! LoL. Sorry if that was WAY too much information for your taste but I have learned that pregnancy is not about glamour, but about learning how to give up your rights as an individual and just surrender to the little one growing inside. It's a joy, but hard.

So recent news, we don't have the much awaited doctor's appointment on Thursday, December 17th to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. Sad, huh? I think so! It has been postponed to my 20 week mark, which is the week after Christmas. So we will be getting a late Christmas present this year! (As far as I am concerned though, it is a boy.)

I am sure that at this moment you are thinking, names?? Well we have a name picked out if it a girl and for the boy well let's just say we keep bouncing between several names. The girl name is Azaria Carlin (Ah-zar-eea). It means "Helped by God" and "Little Champion." So she is helped by God which allows her to be a champion. Cute, huh? My mom hates it but it will grow on her. I love it and so does William. As for the boy name, we want something strong but with good meaning (whether in actual meaning or family tradition). So we have tossed around Wesley William (William's name but reversed), or Ethan Wesley, and actually several other names that I just can't remember (preggo brain).

So with all that said, nothing new has happened. I am just growing. Yepp, no longer can I look down and see my knees without leaning forward. People are starting to come up to me and say, " Oh my gosh! You popped! How cute!" Meanwhile they are touching my belly (I hate that). I want to touch their belly when they touch mine, but that would be just as awkward. With that, I am actually OK when family touches my belly as long as it is not done just to annoy me, lol. But distant friends or acquaintances, I like my bubble.

Love you all.

Andrea
